Hi, I'm Kim 👋
I'm a doodler, a plantaholic, and the one-woman team behind Doodles n Plants. Here's the short version: back in 2020, when Covid shut everything down, I fell headfirst into my “Houseplant Era” — as every millennial does. The problem? Cute plant pots were pricey, and the affordable terracotta ones were plain and boring. So I grabbed a cheap set of paints and brushes, taught myself to paint, and started with a (truly terrible) portrait of my dog, Nugget. Pretty soon my friends were asking me to paint their pets too — and just like that, Doodles n Plants was born. These days I do everything myself, from the first sketch to the package on your porch, painting pets the way I see them: real, a little goofy, and full of character.
